- What does a white chocolate hot chocolate bombe taste like?
White chocolate is made with cocoa butter rather than cocoa solids, giving a creamy, gentle sweetness with a hint of vanilla. Our Snowman is 90% white chocolate and 10% mini marshmallows, so he melts into a smooth, mellow cup. Our white hot chocolate recipes share more ideas.
- How do I use the Snowman bombe?
Stand the Snowman in a mug and slowly pour over steaming milk. As the white chocolate melts, he disappears and the mini marshmallows float to the top. Stir until smooth for a Christmas Eve treat or a cosy film night. Finish with something from our hot chocolate toppings.
- Is the Snowman bombe vegetarian?
Sadly not. The Snowman’s mini marshmallows are made with pork gelatine, so he isn’t suitable for vegetarians, vegans or anyone avoiding pork. His white chocolate contains milk and soya. For a dairy-free alternative, our Vegan Christmas Gifts include the Vegan Christmas Reindeer Hot Chocolate Spoon.
- How many hot chocolates does one bombe make?
Each Snowman bombe makes one mug of hot chocolate, with a minimum weight of 50g. If you’re making hot chocolate for the whole family, our Christmas Character Hot Chocolate Bombes include a Snowman, Santa and Reindeer in one set, so everyone can pick a favourite.
- Is the Snowman bombe included in the Stocking Filler Bundle?
It is. The Snowman Hot Chocolate Bombe is one of four treats in our Stocking Filler Bundle, together with our Christmas Character Bites, a Santa Hot Chocolate Stirrer and a Chocolate Reindeer with jelly carrots, so one order fills a whole stocking.

Chocolate should always be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat and strong smells. Chocolate is best kept at a stable room temperature and doesn't usually need to be refrigerated, although if you like an extra snap to your chocolate then try it out!
